I haven’t read more than TLo’s reviews of the show, but this line: Ultimately, it felt like the most powerful creative decision would be to end Alison’s arc at the moment when she had finally achieved self-empowerment” reminded me why I don’t like to watch dramas. You can’t think of a SINGLE thing to do but kill a

I’m really depressed by your comment.

Seriously- that’s pretty much the last recommended travel week for the *mom*, let alone the dad.

I’m listening to John Hodgman’s Vacationland now, and there is a whole thing about how he can’t believe that the rural garbage men *don’t care* about lording their power over him because he lives in Brooklyn and anyone with an ounce of power would automatically lord it over people there. Seems accurate.

Yup! And it gives her a “Remember how I let you see Pearl Jam?” to passive-aggressively throw at him. Not that I do that...

For me it was the nurses! I was very grateful that my husband was there to drive me to the hospital, but literally anyone else would have been better at that (he totally did the movie husband thing and practically drove away without me- thank goodness it was 9am on a Sunday and nobody was on the road).

Yup! It’s 4 weeks out, and it’s less than 24 hours total, and this is kind of his last chance to do something like this without *truly* inconveniencing her. If they want to be really safe, she could arrange her doctor visit to be like the day before and get a “How am I looking?” update that may or may not be accurate.

Yup! Baby having trouble= real worst thing ever.

YUP. Believe me, the *mom* being there is really the only thing that matters. Like, I was glad my husband was there, but if it was my mom, I’d have been fine. I’d feel a little sad for him, but I think he’d recover almost immediately upon meeting his kid. As far as I know, most cultures in history have kept the dad

As a teacher, I feel like reading assignments (with tests and discussions) would be mandatory, along with no internet or phone bills paid. Ideally, de-nazi-ing him would be the best.

I wonder if it was the publicist who said it would be a bad idea to have Janet and/or N*Sync perform with Timberlake. Because I’m pretty sure we all would have enjoyed the performance if it had one (or, preferably, both) of those, and I could see how those could be less “creative decision” and more “publicist

I’m guessing that either someone (Jordan?) is REALLY racist at that company, or they were trying to get the company sued.

I can’t tell if this was a good lesson or a terrible boss moment. Maybe both?

I believe her clothing line has been shuttered, as of a couple weeks ago.

Agreed on the Big Bang theory thing, and the RIP thing was kinda funny as a response, but making it about “Literally” and having that be a pet peeve (heck, *having* a pet peeve) is something for you to work on, not the world.

It’s not really that insane, if it’s about your kids. If he’s sober, he’ll get more custody, which is good for the kids (as long as he is indeed sober). Basically, it sounds like she’s doing him a favor. Or maybe that’s just how she wants it to sound? I dunno, but as it’s put here, that’s what I’m getting.

I can’t tell if she’s legit that charming/geeky/nice, or if she is *that good* at leaking info without getting any dirt on herself. Considering how marriage #1 ended, maybe a combo?

...right? Not sure that’s related to what I’m saying. For whatever reason, the women are allowing themselves to be used as human shields.

I feel like I’m required to post this every time Taylor Dayne comes up, which is kinda surprisingly often in the past few weeks?

Yeah, I feel like we missed “Just chillin in my apartment” as a concept.
