I so want to build a microturbine-electric hybrid. There is a company in the UK that built one out of an MGF.
Unless it’s powered by a rocket engine, there’s no way that those tiny little wings will provide enough lift to get that thing off the ground.
Maybe not the most outrageous, but the one that has the biggest chance of me actually buying one.
Hawk Cars offers a version that uses an Alfa V6. That’s a sexy-looking and sounding engine.
Not mine - I wish it was though. Was for sale a while back. IIRC it was somewhere north of $65k.
Probably the most common one I hear is “It’s ok to drive (high) if it’s prescribed by a doctor.” That’s a pretty common misconception.
