I would guess that this is a "raft or island" of pumice in the same way that there is a "raft or island" of plastic in the North Pacific Gyre - a bunch of small particles suspended in higher concentrations than normal, especially near the surface of the water.

If you ask me again later, I'll say something different, but right now I can't think of one that has earned pride of place more than my Corvette Grand Sport - World Class Collectors' Edition Series II. Mine isn't in the box, so this isn't my picture -

I never knew there was a song about the Bagger 288! My great-grandfather was a Krupp, so I've always been a bit proud of it. Alas, I suppose my family is at least partially responsible for a couple of the vehicles on this list, and neither of them are cuddly feel-good happy machines.

I don't have a question, I'd just like to congratulate Ralph, Beth and the whole SRT team on a job well done. The new Viper looks great, and I love all the functional details.

What would you say are the biggest parallels between cars and firearms? As your dad has a machine shop and wanted you to get to know the tools, and you've built a car, have you applied that knowledge to shooting? That is, do you now / have you ever done your own gunsmithing? If so, what lessons have you learned from

Am I reading this right? The Bugatti has no soul, but the Honda does?

It probably would be, if it were in a place that had inspections. Most states have laws about taillight placement though, so I'd imagine you could get a ticket for it.

Be a skeptic all you want, but you're alienating readers (like myself) with the unprofessional language. Try to self-moderate your writing. If you're writing an opinion piece, go ahead and write an opinion piece; don't slip your opinion into a factual piece by taking cheap shots, it only comes across as juvenile. If

My all-time favorite! Also Gronholm's "Into the ass of Timo" comment was hilarious, and the Senna speech was of course epic.

I'd have to go with a VW Corrado; and since we're looking for cars that are particularly expensive to maintain, I'd probably get a G60 version over the VR6, just because I'd love to swap on a Lysholm supercharger.

I'd drive a supercharged 4th-Gen Camaro SS with the loudest exhaust I could find.

So because it wasn't in the news, it isn't true?

Sometime around the end of his stint with Mitsubishi, before switching to Subaru, I remember watching Tommi Makinen tackling a stage in his Evo. He was pushing it through a long lefthand sweeper, caught the rise on the inside, and went up on two wheels. He didn't back off, he didn't stop, Tommi just powered through
