Black Woman to be Missed by Audience Members With Good Taste

I’ll admit that I am 100% more invested in RTS stories than any normal person should be, but I genuinely don’t get what’s supposed to be compelling about this. The story behind Homeworld isn’t terribly compelling at the human scale, and I say that as a person who will probably lose my memory of who Karan S’jet is

I make it a habit of carrying a 12V jumpstarter kit in my EV, not because I fear needing to restart my car necessarily but because I want to be ready to help out other people and I know I can’t jump gas cars with mine. It’s a lithium ion power bank with a pair of jump leads that plug in, much nicer than the old

If Google wanted to make Meet a better platform they could cross pollinate it with Stadia tech, implement a microtransaction to rent a game for your chat group, pick a small slate of things that work well in a casual chatty environment.

Brilliant, but at the same time of you play jackbox games in a work setting might be a problem because of the NSFW nature of the questions. Everybody's got to know what they're getting into.

Truly the scribe of our generation.

I think that maybe SEGA is reluctant to make a WWII game set in the pacific, because a Japanese company can’t make a story about that theater without either getting into it domestically with conservatives in Japan or alienating China and Korea depending on how they frame the story.

DoW 3 wasn’t as good as DoW 1 or 2, but I’d put it ahead of a lot of other also-ran RTS games. I think I enjoyed a playthrough of the campaign of DOW 3 as much as Starcraft II, but when I got bored I went back to DoW 1.

Because Starcraft is fast and that’s the only strategy game that’s ever managed to attract any kind of an audience. And it got eclipsed by a mod of itself that makes it faster and simpler (MOBAs).

Looks super cool but it also looks like it would only work perfectly from one spot. Which I guess is fine if that street corner where the photos were taken is the target audience.

This would be great for VR, it works to improve readability on lower res panels and simple graphics means you could hit really high frame rates when rendering in stereo with a wide fov even on something like an Oculus quest

What bugged me about this is that the scrap looks too old. In Fallen Order they’re breaking a ship five years after the war and it has paint on it, nothing is rusted, it’s just broken and in pieces. This is within a few months of the war ending, and even if that particular ship was scrapped early in the war that’s

Let’s get real here, industrialized society as a whole has done deeply evil things to every corner of the earth to get cheap resources, including rather famously fossil fuels, but bringing it up solely in the context of electric car batteries is pure whataboutism. Where does the oil refining industry get their cobalt?

The imperium of man is an epochal shit-show, in universe, and is kind of meant to show that fascism is bad but people miss that point a lot. Entire planets routinely get lost in the paperwork. The imperial military doesn’t govern so much as fly around robbing planets that forgot they technically had a boss a few

Heinlein called it mobile infantry, but I think he wanted to call them capsule troopers before someone talked him out of it. If it makes you feel better, the ordinary soldiers of the Imperial Guard/Astra Militarum do have airborne troops, and ironically they’re the ones whose asses ride in (Imperial) Navy equipment.

That’s a really good point, traditionally the cars of the masses have been the gently-used cars of the top 20%. The most important thing is that the car doesn’t get in an accident and scrapped. Barring that, an EV could stay in service for hundreds of thousands of miles. The battery capacity might degrade but lots of

My housemate and I rigged up something like this when we had a power cut in a major rainstorm, the basement has a leak problem and we knew it would flood if we didn’t keep the sump pump going. I put a 750W inverter on the 12v battery of my Bolt, set the parking brake in neutral to keep it running, and ran an extension

Isn’t one of the selling points of the PS5 how fast the storage is? So if as a dev you’re worried about people cheating by doing a quick reset, isn’t it impossible for a user to move fast enough to turn the system off before their save is updated?

That’s a good point. I would like to wrestle the dinosaurs. Or maybe rope and ride them. Or stampede them off a cliff. Or herd them into other ingenious traps.

That’s actually a point, I remember that someone associated with Feminist Frequency once pointed out that Ezio Auditore is the only video game protagonist we absolutely know to be cis because they showed his genitals as a baby and he is a man as an adult. They could potentially Dumbledore almost anyone into being
