I really liked this but...
That’s the thing, this is kind of a crazy licensing boom we’re having right now for Warhammer(both flavors) and I remember the heyday of Star Wars glut, it wasn’t like this. What are there, three big Star Wars games right now, and that’s if you count Disney Infinity? I’ve been quietly hoping for a new space fighter…
Y’know what they should have done? Made it an ultra-low-power e-paper display device. Just a nondescript flat black rectangle with a changing set of white symbols on it, no backlight. Fraction of a watt of power and it runs on an itty bitty long-life battery, so no need for an excuse as to why you can’t use its stored…
Ah, Sabine Wren. Gogo Tamago if she was bitten by a radioactive Adam Savage.
Whelp!
The disruptor (one properly upgraded) makes enemy drones self-destruct when they fire, so I got it by disrupting lonely-looking tanks from a rooftop and then jumping out in front of them. I think I did it on New Game +.
This is also what you get if you press counter when an enemy is trying to hit you with a car. Another touch I like is that Batman will just hop into the Batmobile if you try to hit him with it on remote control.
Scooby Doo is at its best when there are NO REAL GHOSTS. Now, if the gang was getting all kitted out like that to catch disgruntled theme park owners and randomly running into, like, Key and Peele at their new B & B near the abandoned gold mine I’d be down.
People in wheelchairs complete marathons all the time, assisted and unassisted, they just don’t tend to win them. For them simply completing the course and going the distance is the goal, not doing it as fast as possible or faster than an able-bodied athlete. Ability is a spectrum. There are people below the average…
A high-fantasy naval combat game? Like an all-water Warcraft? I can dig it. Games Workshop had a tabletop naval combat game that was set in the Warhammer fantasy universe, Man O’ War... (searchy search...)
Here’s what they should have done, left the standard vulture alone but made a variant that was for recruiting friends: a pink vulture that rewards you for a million dollars in sales from your downline!
It’s one of the weirdest cultural dissonances I’ve encountered as a westerner, the way the sea creature characters in Splatoon are treated the way we’d look at the citizens of the Candy Kingdom, people made of food rather than people made of sea animals. I can’t tell you if the close linking of the animals to the…
This article in the planning stages before we got a look at Patsy/Trish Walker on Netflix this weekend? Because it seems like too much of a coincidence.
They may have taken some care to diversify the body types a bit for women but they made damn sure none of them are older than 35. Overwatch (the organization) ended 30 years before the game starts but the only female character that was present for it put herself in cryostasis to skip those years. Lame. Like, Pharah or…
She appears to be the most mobile tank thanks to the rocket boosters (Winslow is almost as mobile with his jumping). If Reinhart, Zarya and Road Hog are the “push the main route” tanks, then D.Va and Winslow are the “break the defense on the side route” tanks. In the matches I’ve seen she’s pretty dependent on outside…
Yeah, it’s a fairly straightforward class-based shooter with 21 classes. I wonder what’s confusing people so much? The existence of ultimates? It’s from Blizzard? There are women in it? It’s colorful? As long as people remain hung up on the initial wrong assumption that it was some kind of Smitelike this’ll keep…
I kno, rite?
“Pay ten dollars to be victimized by sociopaths” simulator 2015. No thank you. Though it is interesting to see nearly 20-year old Penny Arcade Gamespy comics coming to life as genuine serious ideas.
It’s extra bad here because the F-14 used the horizontal tailplanes as elevons, they do the work of both the elevators for pitch control and the ailerons for roll, it’s missing almost all of its control authority. I guess having huge control surfaces on your robot’s ankles like a cut-rate Hermes isn’t in the…
