    Philosophical question:

By retweeting my klouchebag score, do I thereby increase both my RT abuse and social apps score?

"Oh, I just test how well the appliances work. You know... how many dishes can a dishwasher clean, how much laundry can a washing machine handle, that sort of thing. You'd be surprised how much testing goes into all that! Why, it reminds me of this one time, when I was vacationing in Borneo..."

Doesn't seem like it'd be that hard to work around.

Well that is the worst thing.

Yes, people a few blocks away who are in no danger are saying those things. Sure.

I guess it would open the door for private lottery-type contests, and the government wants that racket all to themselves.

Then they should provide exemptions for companies wanting to reward customers with cool prizes. If Apple wants to give one random customer a cool-ass vacay, they should be allowed to do that.

My favorite part is how they define "cyber threat":

He is a chinese born muslin, after all.

    That is a bullshit law.

Have you read anything to suggest they're targeting a certain size of asteroid?

No double standard. I'm a socialist liberal hippy, and Newt almost won my vote when he started talking about moon bases.

I think step 4 is pretty obvious, but I guess we can break it down:

Custom-made PCB's aren't hard to come by these days. There are free PCB design suites available, and places like [dorkbotpdx.org] offer ridiculously good bargains ($5 per sq. inch) for fully spec'd PCBs.

If you go to the source article, that author links a video which shows a skimmer operation from the pinhole camera's point of view.

    Clever girl...

I don't think anyone thinks they're being artsy for buying Ikea.

I cannot possibly imagine that it is less expensive to ship/haul/move a bookshelf across an ocean than it would be to just buy a new one when you get there.
