I just can not understand people who want to read the same book year after year.
I’ve heard of people who read sodding Lord of the rings once a year, and I can’t muster anything more eloquent than a baffled “...really? Really?!”.
The same short novel once a year I can accept, but god damned Lord of the neverending rings?

As I commented up-thread, the trailer feels very True Blood/Preacher. Which has, obviously, already been done, so not seeing the originality here.

I’ve never been much of a fan of Gaiman’s work, and these overwrought dramas are starting to annoy me. Sex and violence may have appealed to me when I was younger, but now it just gets in the way. I think I’ll give this one a miss.

You’re missing the point...what is he supposed to day? “I should never have been hired for his job” or “the series is shit, oops”?

Very well said.

Given that the show itself has a lot of problems, it would’ve still been pretty awkward to see a minority actor handle some of the material Jones does in this role.

Great stat. Didn’t need one to convince me he was MVP but damn...

This comment section is going to be fantastic. Bring it on mad fandroids! 😂

“How do we show the new Webby personality isn’t like the old character?”
“Pin her Quacky-Patch doll to the wall with an arrow!”

This is the messed up thing about politics, most people (the media included) are more concerned about the emotions and actions in a speech as opposed to what the actual content is. Most people vote with their emotions and with the “party” they side with as opposed to what policy is actually better for them.
