Of course not, I just wanted to give this new show more attention than I would give a show I'm familiar with. Also, I want to save HACF for another night. Satisfied?

Was planning on watching Halt and Catch Fire tonight, but then I saw some very positive reviews for this show on Facebook of all places, so I watched this instead. I'm so glad I did, it's unlike anything I've ever watched, and it's definitely outside my usual TV sphere. Can't wait to see where the rest of the season…
Man, did I miss this show. Putting the characters I love in a brand-new setting is revealing new sides of them in a cool way.
Precisely. Just because it lacks the aching profundity of say, The Americans or The Leftovers doesn't mean it can't be good/insightful on its own terms. This show will certainly make an interesting parallel to this summer's political madness.
While watching this episode I said to myself "I still can't believe this is a show" twice. I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the glorious weirdness of this show for the next 11 weeks.
I think my two favorite things so far are the super-modern set design and the fact they all drink hipster craft beers like Goose Island IPAs.
I'm getting that the more I watch the show. Like I have no idea what "middle-out compression" (I suppose I could google it) is, but that doesn't impair my enjoyment of the show in the slightest. Hell, I even learned what a "skunkworks" is. Nothing cooler than learning new things from a hilarious TV show.
The way Mike hung onto every syllable of Andrew's pronunciation of "perpetuity" in such mesmerized awe was hilarious. It's little scenes like that that make the show such a powerhouse.
Yeah the moment I heard "Andrew" and "hotel chain in Brazil" I knew it was a pyramid scheme.
Yeah I mainly wanted to avoid a "Parks and Rec" situation (as that show didn't really get going until about midway through season 2), but it sounds like that won't be an issue here.
Jared is great, he's so wonderfully matter-of-fact. I've also liked Zach Woods in Veep and The Good Wife, so that helps a lot.
I've always heard good things about it, but I'm not as interested in the tech world as I am in politics and fantasy/history, so I wasn't particularly interested in the show. I guess comedy knows no bounds.
Mike wanting to get in on Andrew's Brazilian hotel scheme was hilarious. Such a perfectly Mike thing to do.
Thank you sir! I knew the answer would likely be yes, but thought I would pose the question anyway, just to gather any additional opinions.
I started watching this show this season only because it's after Game of Thrones but before Veep, and despite knowing next to nothing about it (aside from it being about Silicon Valley), I'm really enjoying it so far. So I have a question for longtime fans: would I enjoy it even more if I went back and watched the…
God damn do they have Paige well-trained! I can only imagine what she's endured the past 7 months. Keri Russell's acting was amazing; her rage was so palpable, intense, and it just exuded itself through the screen.
I jumped out of my seat, cheered, and fist-pumped when I saw Jon Snow open his eyes and gasp for breath. Made my TV week! Also I can't wait to see the consequences of Ramsay's latest executions, and seeing Euron and the prelude to the Kingsmoot was super exciting as a book reader (I'll have to reread the Iron Islands…
Perhaps I should rephrase: I've always figured that things won't end well for Martha, but now I have a feeling they're going to end really badly for her.
The moment Martha met Gabriel, I got this bad feeling that things aren't going to end well for Martha…anyone else feel that way? Before that I felt there was still a chance for her to escape the situation with her life relatively intact, but now I think that for her all hope is gone. Also I think that this storyline…
I noticed that as well. Really going to miss Nina, she was a great character.
