Really enjoyed this list, I hadn't heard of a lot of these. Definitely adding more cast recordings to my Spotify library.

Maybe I'm just feeling sentimental about this show because I've watched it from the beginning, but I enjoyed this episode. I'd give it a B+, maybe even an A-. It's not perfect by any means, but in its seventh 22-episode season, it doesn't have to be. I did note the parallels between things from the second season of

Also NFY is now its own genre. Nathan Fielder is an evil comedic genius.

Capitalism, man. On a side note, a good tagline for this show would be "Capitalism as comedy."

I would have been 100% okay with this right up until I was asked to put a hood over my head and get into a van. The whole potential kidnapping thing would just be a huge dealbreaker.

On any other show, there would have been explosives in that trailer, but not on the Leftovers. Everything is coming full circle, next week is gonna be some cosmic insanity.

Yeah in retrospect that was some heavy foreshadowing. Man I love this show, everything is connected on such a massively existential level.

When Tommy opened the trailer and discovered the missing girls inside, my mouth fell open and a strained, strangled, stuttering sound escaped from my mouth for a good three minutes. Then I immediately kicked myself for not seeing that coming, as I've watched too much TV to not see that twist coming from a mile away.

This season is slowly turning me from a casual fan of South Park to a more devoted fan. The blend of single-topic, serialized, in-depth satire with the episode-by-episode satire, is very refreshing. And personally, I don't hate sponsored content/native advertising, I just think it's stupid and I ignore it.

I plan to! Thanks, man!

Goddamn it this show is so good why the hell didn't I watch season 1?! Also I love the reference to Franz Kafka in the episode's title.

Started and finished the first season back in August after seeing promos for season 2 before every episode of True Detective season 2. After reading some reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I wound up loving it & thought it was a highly original, different, and brilliant series (especially compared to TD's atrocious

Yeah both would be pretty shocking. But I think finding out your parents are spies would unsettle you way deeper than finding your cheating on his (second!) wife. The latter is a character flaw (yes a major one, but still a mere character flaw), but the former absolutely destroys your notion of who your parents are

Yeah, I mean both characters have parent's who keep secrets from them. Obviously the secrets being kept from Paige are far deeper and darker than those being kept from Sally, but I still couldn't help drawing a comparison between the two.

Anyone else see similarities between Paige and Sally Draper from Mad Men, or is it just me? I'm also reminded of a line from Nick Cave's and the Bad Seeds' terrifying classic song "The Mercy Seat": "And in a way I'm hoping To be done with all this weighing up of truth." The scene where Philip and Elizabeth finally
