"This is Archer’s episode; his sudden, biathlon-inspired swerve into “You think he knows Ray?!” is exactly the sort of slow-burn callback this show does best."

Good luck getting anyone to see that way. Still, you're right about one thing, if the genders had been reversed you'd have people screaming to the high heavens about The 100's "rape scene".

"Thanks for letting me sub in for Oliver. I realize this review went off in some odd directions, but hopefully it offered a different way to think about the show’s construction."

"I realize I didn’t really pay tribute to Laurel, and I guess I’ll do that if and when I’m convinced she’s actually gone for good."

"Alright everyone, be nice to each other in the comments. We’re all going to miss Lincoln and we’ll certainly all see his death in different ways. Keep it respectful."

A B+? That's it?

Time Wraith's could be the CW-verse's version of the Black Flash. I'd be ok with that.

I noticed the lamp thing as well, and it had to be ad-libbed. I don't think you can really plan for a moment like that. Testament to Odenkirk for thinking quickly in the moment.

The CW reference was just right.

Think nothing of it Junkie. We live in the first world, where the feminists (rightly) won their struggles, and they now live in a society where woman are more free than they have ever been in mankind's short and brutal history.

My blood turned cold when we saw the cousins on the roof. A great "Oh shit!" moment.

Of course it's racist, and that's even before you acknowledge that all they did was swap the order of words around from the racist "coloured people" to the suddenly-but-for-no-reason non-racist "people of colour".

No Jim Harper was on The Newsroom.

The DEO might do well to educate its agents about indigenous wildlife because I’m pretty sure that boa constrictor wouldn’t have done anything other than slither on past Jeremiah.

I liken this season to a really strong bit of rope - the kinda rope you'd have on a big ship - but it's frayed at one end. Overall it is solid and incredibly strong, and if you grab the frayed end it's still a single cohesive bit of rope, but it does get scattered towards the end.

Please stop using the word "mansplaining". It's not a real word, it has no value in conversation.

"Then, the show killed off a major character, one whom many identified as a strong representation of the LGBTQ community."

"I like that the show overtly acknowledged how shitty the setting was without trying to teach the audience a hokey lesson about morality."

Let's start with "problematic" before we move onto other misused (or simply made up) phrases/words.

Mmmhmm…
