"If I smugly got into a rant… how everyone gets judged by looks in movies then I'd be mansplanning"

Yeah no… it really isn't. Someone explaining something to someone else doesn't suddenly become something else because one of the people in the conversation is a man and the other is a woman.

Censoring this makes no sense. Someone somewhere in your history did something bad? Well, better apologise for a relative you have never met (let alone knew about).

And you were doing so well until you started using made up words like 'mansplaining'. Way to take the wind out of your own sails…

But the old woman first spoke to Sansa before Brienne ever met the old man. I think it was just a general expression that there were people waiting in the wings of Winterfel for the right moment to strike.

Whatever made you think that that candle was the "Brienne Signal"? No one knows about Brienne. The old lady's comments about still having allies in the North related to, essentially, a 5th column of people who were still loyal to the Stark family.

No doubt they lit the candle and waited to see who showed up.

Nope. I'm sure that'll never come up at all. Ever. In fact we should all just forget it ever happened, and focus more on Killer Frost…

"Not The Mary Sue? I really value what they say!"

To be fair, were Todd reviewing every paragraph would have been about the rape scene and how "problematic" it was. He'd hardly have mentioned the other scenes.

You have got to be Poe's Law in action. No way someone could ever say this:

Really? Trigger warnings? Oh no! The bad character did something bad because he is bad.

I loved this episode. The only thing I don't love is the messed up way the CW is putting this together. This episode cannot take place between last week's and today's Arrows. That doesn't make sense!

It was written to fit with it, likely after the fact. Agents of SHIELD is the tail. The MCU is the dog. The tail does not wag the dog.

"Season two is when the show stopped being auxiliary and started playing an integral role in the evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, primarily by serving as the launch pad for the Inhumans."

It's such a patronising statement, like you can just lump everyone who isn't white into a homogeneous 'other' category.

"“Frenemy Of My Frenemy” is written and directed by two women of color—Monica Owusu-Breen and Karen Gaviola, respectively—which immediately differentiates it from nearly every single thing Marvel Studios has produced in the past."

This season no line has been as shocking and as funny as that one. :-D

Bradley Whitford! What casting! Fantastic episode all 'round.

The Mac/Bobbi thing has got to be sorted soon. We can't do another "traitors in their midst" plotline. It's been done. Moles on 24 got old by Season 2. No more traitors, please.
