Thank you.

I actually just hiked around this area a week ago. You’d be surprised at how it can look if you down in the canyons near rivers or creeks (which still run). Lots of trees and undergrowth:

Where else are you going to have a first date when you meet on “Tinder”?

Oh wait, they were brother and sister.

“No you moron, I said I wanted to see the movie Into The Woods!”

This - this endless parade of semi-real people peddling semi-real products supported by totally false claims - THIS, more than anything else in recent memory, signals that Armageddon is indeed upon us.

We are a UK based, 100% natural health products company that has a desire to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Few things i took from this...

What’s crazy is that it’s not just celebrities doing this. If you have maybe 25,000+ followers, you too can shill products on Instagram! I have a friend who does it- not sure how much she gets paid, but she’s incredibly savvy about using her Instagram as a means of income. I believe “Fit Tea” was one of her recent

All these people fucking suck and are utter disgusting whores. #yourfaveisawhore #whyusellingmeshit? #getoffinstagramforfivedamnseconds

all these beautifying/slimming products, it’s fucking weird. I imagine if you are the type of person to follow these IGs (like my mother in law and other family members of mine) you are probably also the type of person to be interested in these sorts of products, so points for knowing your market there. It is an odd

I clicked over from Deadspin out of curiosity and I honestly never heard of 90% of these people. Had to Google Scott Disick to see what his deal was, and he’s listed as “TV Personality” and has ties to the Kardashians. That’s all I needed to know.

Serious question-Lindsay Lohan looks like a rode hard and put away wet 45 year old queen of the trailer park. Are there really companies out there that actively want to be associated with her? Or does she do this stuff on spec, hoping that someone will think it’s brilliant and throw some cash her way?

THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS! I can’t even look at my IG feed anymore without having some “fitness model” trying to push some stupid “NEW DETOX TEA OMG SO GOOD FOR YOU AND TASTE GOOD TOO HUURRRRDDUURRR”.

It’s positively fascinating how the products advertised on a medium correlate to the medium itself, such as teeth whitening products being advertised on a website which amounts to a modern temple of narcissism.

Comment #1 - I have only heard of 3 of these people.

I cannot believe how far I had to scroll to get to the end of this post. Holy shit.

But do people really see these D listers and go OMG I must have this? I see anything they are holding and I automatically go “Nope don’t want to use that. I now trust that product like 100 times less.” It’s like reverse marketing for me.
