Thank you thank you thank you! I'll give it a try before the weather gets too warm! I love to bake, but I'd practically given up on croissants. My previous attempts have all been vaguely soggy/spongy and greasy. Some of the pictures in that thread have gotten my hopes up!

Wait... you have a croissant recipe that actually makes lovely, flaky, butter croissants that are what they should be? Do they even have that vague buttered-bread taste that croissants are supposed to have? Would you be willing to share such a recipe?
