I’m hoping Guardian was erased from existence when the multiverses merged, replaced by photographer Jimmy Olsen who never got the stupid idea to become a vigilante himself.
I feel like Black Lightning would be best served in this new status quo by having its characters travel to other shows, but by and large not the other way around.
I think the reason I love it is that, if memory serves me correct, this is the first time we saw smiley Oliver and the first indication that he had gained the ability to laugh at himself. They brought him back to brooding fairly quickly, making this an even more precious glimpse into what could have been.
It’s kind of unfortunate, since we probably missed out on some cool things had they sort things out from the start, but at the same time what we’ve gotten from both DC and Marvel have been pretty cool, too. I’m grateful, but I’m also kind of worried that some things we’ll just never see in our lifetime.
Hell, we already know that Diggle gets tired of ARGUS and ends up creating his own spy network, Nightwatch. Perhaps this is the origin of that?

In a way, the Arrowverse just rebuilt the Trinity - GA is Batman, Flash is Superman (esp. Silver Age-era Supes with new powers every week), and Supergirl is WW.
I know this is incredibly superficial of me ( Crisis on Infinite Earths and all) but....
Please do not compare this guy to the greatness that was Manchester Black

It is interesting that these recaps suggest how bad Midge is as a parent...which I don’t agree with, but if true she certainly learned from her folks. Abe and Rose are awful. Rose goes to Paris to try and reclaim her past...she goes to Oklahoma to plead for money but decides to take an ill fated moral stand against…
La Croix was something I drank as a nine & ten tar old. In 1990.
And of course the equally-annoying corollary to that, which is “[event] has just happened, so here are half a dozen tweets from completely unrelated people expressing their inane opinions on it.”
Can we give props to Wanda Sykes as Moms Mabley!
