I have to think that on some level Lana knows that her “Type A All The Way” default setting makes her her own worst enemy when it comes to living a satisfying life and that’s why she’s drawn to Archer, despite her best intentions. Archer is only driven to achieve by base motives like jealousy and pride (and

I dunno, I really liked this one because the whole cast was together for most of the episode. Like Lana, I wondered why Cheryl was in the field — even to the point of wondering if I’d somehow missed that she got trained during Archer’s coma — and was happy the show didn’t forget about me and delivered an explanation.

My only issue with the show so far is that 30 minute run times are feeling too short. Just when I’m getting settled in, it’s over! Come back, She-Hulk!

Definitely. Back when I was still commuting, I used to have a 30 minute drive to work and was usually a few minutes early every day. Then I moved into a new place that was only 8 minutes door-to-door, and promptly started arriving 5+ minutes late because I “had time” before I needed to leave in the morning.

But to be honest, the off-brand supes were one of my favorite parts of Venture Bros. A bowman who battles evil by shooting it with arrows that have feet on the end, called the Fallen Archer? I freakin’ love it.

Muddying the brand identity, hey, that’s always a great way to stand out in a world of more outlets pushing more content than any human being could possibly keep straight, right?

I feel seen.

Heck, Porcupine is a legendary bad-ass compared to Stilt-Man and Paste Pot Pete.

I’m Alright” rules the roost on the Caddyshack soundtrack, of course, but there’s also an underrated gem called “Mr. Night” that’s worth a listen. (You hear a bit of it over the pool scenes, if you’re trying to place where it appears in the movie.)

I guess I may have been one of the few who didn’t really care about the murder mystery. But I am happy to report that, if you’re like me, this was a great season!

One of the reasons they’re so derided, though, is that most of their hit songs are alarmingly similar. So “one hit wonder” isn’t strictly accurate, but not entirely untrue, either. Demonstration here:

I did, but didn’t want to spoil. But I still don’t think he had enough of a character arc to warrant casting Danson.

Hot take: D’Arcy Carden is never anything less than a delight, both on screen and in the interviews I’ve read/watched from her. I’m only one episode into League, but so far Greta is the kind of big, complex, front-and-center role that ought to make her the huge star she deserves to be, if there’s any justice in the

Oddly enough, he’s playing a 0% charming admiral on The Orville -- so much so that I wonder why they bothered to cast him in a role pretty much any upper-middle-age actor could have played.

I saw it in the theater, and honestly, one of the things that the 2011 reboot got right was that with a brainy bruiser like Momoa in the title role, it let Conan be crafty and quick-wittedmuch more like the original REH stories, as opposed to Arnold’s blunt instrument of a character. (I mean that affectionately: Con

Theo Rossi is a plus for me as well. Sons of Anarchy had kind of an uneven run but I always liked him in it.

I once described him as “the fourth of five Entourage bros, only tolerated because he’s the best at mocking the fifth one.”

This is why my test for diners is a club sandwich. Even the worst one I’ve ever had was edible, and there’s room for a surprising amount of creativity which, when absent, gives me a clue that I should stay away from anything more challenging.

Interesting, because the score was a big drawback for me. A three hour movie where the only two songs in the whole world seem to be “Ave Maria” and “Something in the Way” was not what I was looking for, but different strokes for different folks.

There was me. And I even knew Lundgren played The Punisher without knowing that.
