I dunno, I really liked this one because the whole cast was together for most of the episode. Definitely. Back when I was still commuting, I used to have a 30 minute drive to work and was usually a few minutes early every day. Then I moved into a new place that was only 8 minutes door-to-door, and promptly started arriving 5+ minutes late because I “had time” before I needed to leave in the morning.

But to be honest, the off-brand supes were one of my favorite parts of Venture Bros. A bowman who battles evil by shooting it with arrows that have feet on the end, called the Fallen Archer? I freakin’ love it.

Muddying the brand identity, hey, that’s always a great way to stand out in a world of more outlets pushing more content than any human being could possibly keep straight, right?

Heck, Porcupine is a legendary bad-ass compared to Stilt-Man and Paste Pot Pete.

“I’m Alright” rules the roost on the Caddyshack soundtrack, of course, but there’s also an underrated gem called “Mr. Night” that’s worth a listen. (You hear a bit of it over the pool scenes, if you’re trying to place where it appears in the movie.)

Theo Rossi is a plus for me as well. Sons of Anarchy had kind of an uneven run but I always liked him in it.

I once described him as “the fourth of five Entourage bros, only tolerated because he’s the best at mocking the fifth one.”

This is why my test for diners is a club sandwich. Even the worst one I’ve ever had was edible, and there’s room for a surprising amount of creativity which, when absent, gives me a clue that I should stay away from anything more challenging.

Interesting, because the score was a big drawback for me. A three hour movie where the only two songs in the whole world seem to be “Ave Maria” and “Something in the Way” was not what I was looking for, but different strokes for different folks.
