Back in January 2023 it was reported tha James Gunn was recasting Jason Momoa as Lobo, and Jason was very excited about the character.  So we've known for a year King Arthur was done.

Yeah but Shazam 2 and the Flash were TERRIBLE movies and Blue Beetle got dumped in August, which is rarely a great time for the BO.

Just screaming into the void here about how conditioned audiences are to think of “universes” as some kind of vast entertainment package instead of just enjoying goddamn “movies.” Jeez, Shazam 2, Flash, Blue Beetle and Aquaman 2 are the results of tons of artists busting their asses to make something good. So, why didn’t he do it in the first place? He was literally the director and...god knows why...got the do “whatever you want”-card for these movies.

No, it’s clear to me now that Snyder needs a second pass at every project, just to creatively break even.

It’s based on a 9 book series, and while I’m glad two of the trilogies got adapted, it goes without saying it’s disappointing the tv series doesn’t have a proper conclusion.

It’s strange how much controversy has surrounded Jeopardy! since Alex Trebek’s passing.

I assume that giving Zach Snyder any money at this point is yet another one of Hollywood’s ridiculous accounting practices so they can always claim a loss.

Sometimes you have to put out actual trash in order to maintain appearances.

As much as I like Jason Momoa, I can’t bring myself to watch DC movies. Way too much CGI, and it all looks like wet clay. 

Imo, I wouldn’t even have put Spider-man 2 in the running here. It inspired some excitement back half of the year, but even then the dialogue (positive and negative) didn’t inspire anywhere near what the likes of TotK, BGIII, Alan Wake 2, and Starfield did.

this looks interesting. the visuals and make up give it look of something better than the regular straight to videostreaming junk. i wonder how many favors Jonah Ray had to cash in though to get his famous friends to make cameos. dont get me wrong, i like the dude but he always comes off as a super pretentious prick.

Listen....I needed to seduce Gale and Karlach and Spiderman can’t offer me that at all. That’s why BG3 deserved the win.
