Instead of being weirdly passive aggressive in the comments you should probably just edit some of those links into the article.
I think I would disagree with you on the average nature of the reviews you provided, but your reaction comes off as wildly overblown for a comment that I don’t think any reasonable person could construe as even mildly aggressive. Further, when I posted that, I was literally still seeing the “Start the discussion”…
all the reviews i posted gave it 3/5 stars like...
Perhaps you should add that detail in the article if all the comments so far are about that specific detail lol. Might save some headaches.
It’s okay to be wrong every now and then, sis.
“With mixed reviews for Loki Season 2"
You have to look at it from the POV of a soulless bastard whose paycheck didn’t bounce.
The guy is literally as powerful as a nation state. He’s setting his own foreign policy, breaking laws, eroding democracy, spreading disinformation, ruining lives, enabling fascists and literal nazis and runs the largest most effective global propaganda system on earth.
Maybe if he stopped pitching them up to be hit...
I’d actually like to see more!
I love that practically everything this review lists as a negative (including “Loki and Mobius, Space Time Buddy Cops”) is proven in the comments to be the stuff that everybody loves. It must be tough to write a review, be happy with it and submit it, and then see everyone telling you everything you got wrong and how…
“It’s a little startling to see the women sort of left to blame in this way, that they broke it all and it’s up to the men to fix it.”
huh? The entire episode is Loki screaming from the top of his lungs that “He who remains” is causing all of this and ending with him trying to find and save Slyvie.
yeah thank you. I’m guessing we’re getting a really good arc for Slyvie and if that post credit scene is any indication it’s going to be deep and well acted.
“Loki and Mobius, Space Time Buddy Cops” is not what we signed up for.
So this recap gets certain basic facts wrong (ie. Loki didn’t prune himself, at least not as far as we know, he was pruned by *someone* from behind just as he saw Sylvie. It’s possible it was future Loki but we don’t know that).
Writers’ strike probably contributed to the delay.
Exactly. The whole thing is like a large scale version of explaining midichlorians. Sometimes, the best stories are ruined with a backstory.
I don’t need my hand held like that necessarily — asking people to watch ancillary content to understand the show they’re watching is a step too far in my opinion anyway — but a 10s name drop or 30s of “have you ever heard of the Mortis whatever, Hati? they blah blah“ would have gone a long way here
I have a friend who has been watching Ahsoka and has seen all of the movies and the live action shows, but none of the animated shows. I’ve seen everything, but I haven’t seen The Clone Wars or Rebels in a while and there are a lot of details about both I’ve forgotten.
