thats been a rumor i believed for the longest times. a few years ago i looked into it and its not true. they just get used because people love and expect the Daleks to show up.

i went to go look this up, and its on Tubi for free btw, and its weird. i ended up skipping through it and goooooooood its bad. its borderline unwatchable. the twist is a neat idea, in a late 90's edgy sort of way. but the consumer tech and their abilities were not there.
