i dunno about being worse. at least HBOMax will still have HBO shows, but it’ll be a race.

its still such a fucking dumb decision. since this came out last night ive been reading that they’re going to rehaul HBOMax and cut a lot of the scripted tv too. basically just turn it into their Discovery+ service with hbo shows. i figured that was mostly people talking about the worst case scenario.

oh shit youre right. they might shelve the Penguin spin off show. it hasnt even begun filming yet. so it could be dead in the water.

Affleck has been saying he’s been willing to come back lately. might be why they’re willing to scrap everything and continue with the #snyderverse.

WB can barely play Connect 4

yeah i was thinking the same thing. if theyre bringing back Affleck then a Keaton centric movie doesnt make sense anymore if they’re going to nix a multiverse with the Flash movie

yeah but that wasnt the people in charge now

but i think that was meant to be a theatrical movie compared to Batgirl. plus it just finished wrapping a week or two ago. so its probably going to get a release.

theyre still making that?

i really have nothing to say, but i just thought that it was funny this was tagged under “OTHER COMIC BOOK SHOWS.” it is somehow weird and oddly appropriate considering what this show is.

dont get me wrong, i loved the movie and honestly i just love Godzilla in general, but i hope theres an actual “story” this time. you can tell all the human stuff was chopped out as much as they could. there was so much set up for nothing to be resolved.
and before someone yells at me, yes i know the human stuff is

yeah that does make the most sense.

did they say why theyre moving it? i thought this show was already shot and in the bag months ago?

i think this is why we’re seeing such backlash lately. they’re putting out too much and too quickly. the novelty had been wearing down for a while. i think that year without anything Marvel in 2020 really affected how people view the movie series. it ironically gave an ending after Endgame.

was that Matt Ryan?

we can only hope

During a recent interview with Comic Book, Todd McFarlane revealed he’s had “the conversation” about converting his long-threatened Spawn movie into a streaming series. However, he is personally against it.

thats why i was curious. i saw the name and googled both of them as well but i couldnt find anything. like i know Ike was the de facto toy maker in the 90's because thats how he was able to buy Marvel, and now theres an other toy maker Perlmutter out there. theyre either related or this is a weird coincidence
