I’m saying the same thing. When he played and kept getting hurt and going BACK out there to play again, I was like “he must be slow” but he’s been great.

I think it’s just that he doesn’t have a polished, slick *persona,* which isn’t even a bad thing. It’s just different, like a guy who played college ball breaking down a game at a sports bar. He’s not slick like Boomer or Troy Aikman. I thought I’d dislike him because of Cowboys too

Must be a military thing because I have heard plenty of men refer to women as “females” (often with this weird emphasis on the first syllable) but never refer to men as “males”. In civilian life this appears to be a guy thing. Seems simple enough if you are told that it’s rude to say “female” to just call us women…

I love this article and thank you for writing it. But no one, no one ever, has used “male” this way on the regular. Like with “bitch” there is no true equivalency.
