That is my mother’s favorite movie. Seriously. She’s obsessed with it.

I remember for a long long time that “Against All Odds” was the death song on AI. Literally EVERY single person who sang it was eliminated immediately after for years and years. I think I only ever saw one person escape it.

Some motherfuckers out of the greys that want to play morality police as well. It makes my blood boil.

Oh, shut the fuck up.

Not just any singer/guitarist - freakin’ Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio! I saw them last year and they were pretty good (I saw them once before in like 2002 and they were awful, not least because Tom Delonge can’t sing for shit).

How are morons like this out of the greys while good commenters toil away in obscurity...

LeslieAnn answered your question already, I see, but she didn’t point out one thing that I would like to. Your BAC would NOT be measurable for 3-5 days... that amount of time is how long the metabolites from alcohol would be present in your urine. Really the only time a urine test for alcohol would be applicable would

Eh. I know several potheads who are excellent at their jobs while high. That being said, they’re mostly of the office/retail/service type - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND operating heavy machinery while high, obviously.

I know that was a rhetorical question, but just if someone is actually curious: your BAC lowers by approximately 0.015 every hour after you stop drinking (obviously dependent on a number of factors, but that’s the average).

You know what? I ADORE Sliding Doors. Gwyneth’s accent is not good and all, but John Hannah is just so damned charming that I can’t help but love it.

It's pretty bad. It had its moments but it never really found its footing until Rob Lowe and Adam Scott joined the cast.

I never could figure out when the damn show was on! Totally NBC's fault because I loved the first few episodes but it never seemed to be consistent with airtimes.

I've heard that someone high up at NBC LOVES Trial & Error so it's almost a mortal lock to get a renewal. Don't know about how true that is but we'll see.

The first season of Parks and Rec was terrible, but I have a feeling Powerless costs quite a bit more to produce, thus the quick exit.

I'd say that TV shows get a lot MORE leeway these days, tbh. There are several shows on right now that are critical darlings but not ratings powerhouses… I'd wager that if Arrested Development premiered within the last five years instead of 2003, it would still be on TV.

The Good Place has virtually identical ratings to Superstore, if not somewhat better at times. It has obviously been renewed but I'd imagine the powers that be were at least slightly worried that they lost over 4 million viewers from premiere to season finale.

Everybody on this show has been pretty consistently excellent for awhile now, and it's insane to me that none of them have even been nominated for an Emmy at all (with the exception of Farmiga, who I believe was nominated in season 1 - don't quote me on that though).

That completely slipped past me! But I was confused as to why the finale aired an hour later than it normally would for me (I panicked at about 8:02 when my DVR wasn't recording anything), so now that makes sense.

Uh… he's right though, isn't he? I have seen every episode, and admittedly it's been awhile, but she did fake her suicide iirc. That being said, I felt like the police would have dragged the lake completely and found the car that her body was in, but obviously this show requires a bit of suspension of disbelief to

Olivia Cooke broke my heart in Me and Earl and the Dying Girl. I'm excited to see her in more projects.
