My boyfriend and I constantly laughed about that. I wonder how much Subway paid MTV, because they legit went to Subway at least one time an episode. For a few seasons that happened, but that season was definitely the most egregious.

I mean, yeah it is kind of a random name for a wrestler, but his last name is Mizanin. So not totally out of last field. Also he was one of my all-time favorite competitors on the Challenge.

I believe that the reason they are hardly shown anymore, or available to stream, is that the earlier seasons had a lot of music from the time, and the rights got very expensive.

And now Jacinda is married to hot-as-fuck Gabriel Macht. Sigh... some people have all the luck.

Me too! Every time I hear that damn song. I remember their PSA vividly. That was one of my favorite seasons of RR.

Look, I unabashedly still LOVE the Challenge... I just can’t help it, man. I miss Road Rules too. I know that you can watch old seasons of the Challenge on mtv.com, not sure about RR, though.

I loved Hawaii... Especially Colin. Do you remember how they aired a casting special before that season aired, and they made Colin host it thinking he’d been rejected? And then at the end they told him he was the seventh cast member? Super adorable. Amaya was annoying as fuck, though.

They are banned, although I don’t know whose decision that is.
