The more people crow about getting things done when Sanders cannot, the more it reveals the inability of literally every other sitting senator since 2007 and literally every other sitting house rep between 1991 and 2007 to get the things we actually want done done.

I did a spit take at “progressive moderate”

Hard disagree on Buttigieg. The guy just continues to prove that he’s an empty suit, waiting to parrot whatever think tank talking points are delivered wirelessly to his CPU.

oh wow

Amir Garrett’s that friend you’re happy you have but you kind of wish wasn’t your friend.

As far as I can tell, she has more reason to be up there than John Hickenloper (who seems like a very nice man!), Beto O’Rourke, or Steve Bullock.

Honorable mention to every exchange between Bernie Sanders and an absolutely terrified Tim Ryan:

I’m a Tribe fan and now I don’t need to go through mental gymnastics to root for Bauer anymore!  PUIG IS MY FRIEND NOW, BITCHES!

I went to community college for two years (which has had zero effect on my career, people only care about where you graduated from), worked full time, lived in my (incredibly physically abusive!!) parent’s house when I

I was never crazy about Top Gun as a teenager, but watching it now it’s really amazing that for most of its length the only thing at stake is a good performance evaluation at work.

Lukewarm take: Top Gun, the original, was vastly overrated. While many recognized it for being trope-y, shallow, and over-the-top even when it was released in 1986, watched today it’s practically a comedic parody, with many parts being unintentionally funny and flat out ridiculous.

Everyone is taller than Tom Cruise.

It’s like The Blind Side, but for grifters

You can find a video of Philip Brailsford shooting Shaver (who was unarmed, basically in his underwear, begging and sobbing for his life) several times because he believed that Shaver had a gun on his person.
