OK, just looked into the pistol shrimp, which I did not previously know existed. Mind = blown.

Exterior door to kitchen opens up against a wall. I mounted a few strips of wood on that wall and installed coat hooks. Some kid height, some adult height. Since it's a rental, I sure hope our landlord sees this as a value-add!

When I was 8 or 9, a LONG time ago, I received a pair of wireless intercoms from my grandparents. Like ac-powered, old school walkie-talkies. I wanted a headset to use with them, so I opened one of the units up, soldered in a stereo plug jack in place of the speaker/mic and discovered that if I plugged in a pair of

Despite using CS2 during my college days, I have been using GIMP, Inkscape, Nitro PDF, Kompozer and Scribus on a regular basis.

No kidding. SpiderOak has a serious marketing issue. I am all about Spideroak thanks to their zero-knowledge setup.

So, to be clear, the majority defines the morality of one's actions?

Ok, you have to explain increased functionality. If you meant "more portable form factor" than sure. But I can't believe the software/OS allows you to do a single thing that cannot be done in a full Windows (not RT) environment. My uncle gifted a big set just like this to my family 25 years or so ago. The pieces completely filled 2 milk crates.

This game looks amazing. It also reminds me of Epic Duels, a game I love and have not played in about 9 years. Kids, apathetic wife, etc.

As a fellow BYU fan (alumnus, actually) I will forgive this most heinous of ideas. Wendy's makes me feel like life. I've never tasted dead people, but I love dead cow with bread and veggies, if if comes from Wendy's.

Wlodi's flight-sim setup makes me laugh. Obviously they put lots of $$ into this, but they are using the same ho-hum joystick I use with my decidedly simple set-up

Is eating 300 junior bacon cheeseburgers worth the detrimental impact on my health.

I am still rocking my iPod Touch 2g. I think about the 5G every day, but mine is still working (mostly) fine.

OK, so the American trailer is definitely awesome in it's own right. "What the hell else could you want?"

I see what is happening in the comments... 2012 will not be the year we stop missing Firefly!!

I purchased an old pc through craigslist. It was a custom built beast, just 5 years old by then. Anyway, I could not get audio out of the front or rear mini jack. I eventually figured out that the front audio jack was shorted, so that it would not put out sound but would disconnect the rear jack as if it were

These Humphrey manlifts look a heck of a lot safer than the tiny-stepped on in the OP's pic.
