Why wouldn't it be? Because it's scary?

SBSchedule exists, does that on a schedule you create, and works well. If you are running ios5 you just need to wait for the jailbreak. SBSchedule costs a few $ (I forget how much exactly) but is flexible set-and-forget for anything you get do in SBSettings.

Thanks, I did see that. Still just a substitute for SBSettings, and doesn't even touch SBSchedule. I have SBSsettings set to pop up on a certain sequence of volume button pushes, so I can change brightness mid-game. SBSchedule lets me leave my device on all night, with the volume down so emails (Woot!) don't wake me

This is what Allesandra Torresani could be like when she's older. (Top pic, it's in the eyes).

SBSettings and SCSchedule. The killer apps for me. I have seen nothing else come even close to this functionality without a jailbreak.

I was worried that this post would turn into a whiny, bitchy rant about how people suck unless they give you expensive gifts that are exactly what you want. Cough [gizmodo.com] cough.

They do real things with real objects, subject to the same laws of physics as would constrain anything you can do. How accurate it is to generalize based on their findings is dubious. Whether or not you can learn things and be entertained by watching them has been repeatedly confirmed.

So, from your point of view 70% of the population are deluded, lazy and/or disordered? There is another possible explanation: people vary in their intellectual potential in various disciplines. Some are better at memorizing, some understand grammar, and to some, numbers are intuitive.

Their regular sodas, flavors you might find at the corner store should you be so lucky, are very good. These things are novelties, meant to be displayed more than enjoyed, I think. Don't let their holiday packs turn you off flavors like orange cream soda and others.

In theory most techniques should be the same, between keeping your home cool or keeping it warm. Drafts are your enemy and windows have a low insulating value. If you don't use a room much, you don't need to cool it. So, insulate windows to keep the heat out. You can get window film that reduces solar heat coming in ([

Hold your breath?

Yeah, I've done that. I can't tell if you are being sarcastic. Compared to installing (insert live cd, click install, click the managed install option, wait, remove cd, reboot) it's complicated. Especially for first-timers who don't know how, delete the linux partition, can't boot, don't have another way to get online

Amen. I used to prefer Open Office over Microsoft Office. Until I started college. Especially with spreadsheets.

That's motivation. In my experience, un-dual booting a computer is a lot more complicated that installing.

My wife makes great lumpia. 'Murcin Heathen that I am, I like mine with ketchup and/or thousand island dressing.

That's a good idea. The problem is I need to replace the HDD in my laptop, it's giving me failure errors every week or so. I am riding that horse till it drops dead underneath me (while doing daily backups). So, I need to replace my disk. Getting a hdd caddy and slapping a 64 gb ssd in there would be in addition to

I have a confession: until your post I have never even heard of these. Spent some time researching them this morning, and I have to say I think the new US Survival version (the type you have pictured) is awesome. The watertight storage, 2.5 lbs total weight and the fact you can store with clip inserted are killer

yes, I did mean SSD. Although, at the current price point, the new gen of Momentus XT is outside my budget also. My real hope is that with time and flood recovery, the first gen prices will come down and I can get my XT for less than $100. The 500 GB was $89 a few days ago on Amazon but I did not catch this until the
