Think of something you have always wanted to try or used to enjoy and have not had much time for recently. Then think of something that would help you do that thing. Budget depends on circumstances, of course. For example, I put a fire pit in my back yard a few month ago and have been having lots of fun cooking

Ok, so I'm not sure what games you are talking about, but I don't think I've ever seen a game from GOG.com that would not work on Vista/7 via a customized DOSbox that comes with the install file.

That guy needs to get out more. Or never, ever come out again. And somebody confiscate his internet please!

I guess I'm missing something here. I like music, but I'm on a serious budget and pretty much never buy tracks anymore. I do NOT pirate music, ever. I get my fix through Spotify and Pandora. If these services stop operating, I will still not buy music. If I had to have a song I would probably buy a used CD. So, in my

I have always taken my old laptop drives, purchased an external usb enclosure for around $5 and turned them into portable external drives. Very handy, super cheap.

If you get cold, you should try this. Your feet might love the water bottle so much they play footsie with it in your sleep. If you kick it off at least it kept you warm until you were sleeping and then you might not notice.

Being the furthest part of your body from your core, feet get cold. Warm these up and the rest of you feels warmer. Try it.

The hot water bottle warms your bed up before you climb in. Then you climb in bed, and if you have enough blankets, your body heat keeps the bed warm the rest of the night.

If you know how to get water hot without using energy, you should patent this. And then write a physics paper about how you traveled to this alternate universe where energy is free.

Nice shoes, I have the exact same pair, sometimes just as dirty.*

Hearted for being a geologist. Who went to Cyprus. And had to push a vehicle out of bad spots by hand. I know nothing else about you, but that is enough.

My guess is to make absolutely sure you don't lock yourself out. In the wilderness like this I always do this when I get out to check my approach, pee, or for any short stop where I leave the motor running. If I stop and leave the vehicle somewhere I check that I have my keys in my hand about 5 times before I shut and

I applaud your intentions, but I'm going to climb on my soap box anyways.

Edit: post in wrong spot.

Yeah, what's with the cheese? My daughter is allergic to dairy (all kinds; well, maybe not camel) so we use soy milk as a replacement. It's great in cooking. However, she hates the non-dairy cheese-like products so much that when we cook with cheese she would much rather have her own cheese-free portion than use rice

I'm a huge RTS fan who loves science fiction and WWII stuff. So, it's going to be Company of Heroes for sure, probably a little Star Wars: Empires at War- Forces of Corruption (love those B-wing bombers) and perhaps a little SupCom 2.

Once, while hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, I came upon 5 or 6 female models and a photographer doing a photo shoot in the woods. I was 18 at the time and strongly considered watching through the woods and hoping for a swimwear shoot. But I digress.

Just here to say, if you ever see this (the cross section of a tree trunk) with branches, leaves and sky in the background: move, quickly. Or risk having your face smashed by thousands of pounds (hundreds of kg) of tree falling on you.

Muphry's law at it's finest!

Hands and knees, with a soapy brush or sponge. Srsly.
