Maybe they have more insight into how she was letting the students that weighed into their decision, I obviously have no idea. I have seen several cases of teachers with shaky boundaries cause issues which is probably why I am more critical of this aspect

It could be for educational purposes or to be the “cool” teacher. I come across many teachers with bad judgement in this regard unfortunately.
