We were Rona’s riding, but they broke us up. My riding went huge NDP in the provincial election because people were soooooooo pissed at our MLA. Like 2012? NDP got 7%. This year? 55%. People HATED our MLA. I’m hoping we can capitalize on that this time around.

I’m in a newly created riding, so there aren’t any signs up for anyone yet. I’m pleased.

Liquor servers make a shit ton of money from tips, so they have a lower wage. But they’re going to just even it all out to make it easier, since some restaurants would pay the poor dude at the Red Robin bar mixing drinks that wage, when they don’t make any tips.

Volunteering is where it’s at. Making sure the election process is fair and democratic. I’m Canadian, so our voting process is different, but there are so many ways up here we need people to volunteer and work (for cash) to ensure the process is all above board.
