I was pleasantly surprised by it. I agree that it might feel a bit underwhelming but that's Hodgman's tone; it's not going to be Chris Rock pacing the stage delivering body blows. If you have Netflix it's worth checking out.

It's hard to imagine that someone thinks that hearing "Get Lucky" twice in a month would be repetitive.  The track *itself* (which is great!) is absurdly repetitive.

FWIW, another example of teen idol who matured into a credible musician is Alex Chilton, formerly lead singer of the Box Tops ("Cry Like A Baby," "The Letter") and subsequently the lead of the hugely influential group Big Star.

It's sad.  She was gay friendly and generally progressive up until her recent "religious conversion."
