Zaher killed the local guy with a sustained blast, but I’ve got a feeling the power was tweaked to something above a stun but below death so that it would hurt more. Probably to teach any dissident locals that not only will you die it will be slow and painful.

So Georgiou getting a handful of blasts wasn’t as bad

There’s a brief tease in the season trailer of Tilly and Grudge “bonding” that I cannot wait to see.

Yes, Memory Alpha has the etymology behind it:

Mars Attacks! has a cult following that baffles me. I saw it with my best friend. I thought it was terrible, and he thought it was brilliant. I think you need a real reverence for the source material to like it. Even the homages I did get, they weren’t meaningful to me.

I'm definitely worried about Detmer. There's something going on with her and I hope we don't lose her down the line.

Oh my god it hurts me how perfect this is.

Unless, it’s about an adult Wednesday and her family, in which case Ricci as Wednesday. Otherwise, I’m with you that she should play Morticia if it’s the original family.

heh That is a wonderful episode.

What do you have against Tom Jones? :p

Let’s cast this thing!*

However, his last few films, which include Dumbo and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, haven’t quite been up to the director’s highest highs

Or... I think it's a reset to the beginning of the Federation like Enterprise was, except this time they don't have to screw around with Vulcans and Klingons and Star Trek continuity that everyone was complaining about in Season 1.

So this episode was a classic western. Complete with small border town terrorised by outlaws and a saloon brawl. With one of the poor locals dying for believing in the heroes. And of course the heroes coming to save the locals. Just like last time it was s full of tropes but I liked the episode having fun with them.

The Falcon and Winter Soldier want to bring back early MCU characters and make them ’cooler’

Some characters come already cool.

It might be a lot more expensive to bring Justin Hammer back, now that he has an Oscar. I think that Lady Sif is expected to return inn Thor: Love and Thunder, but I’m fairly sure that Sharon Carter is one of the “secondary” character he is talking about that will get a lot more attention.

I think it could be really amazing to go back through the first trilogy of films and bring back some great characters that were forgotten or at least sidelined, Spiderman Far From Home did it well with some of Tony’s lackeys, and if done right it could be really interesting.

Easy, she was only hit once, so stun. two shots is complete knockout, and three: disintegration. Wait, am I in the right franchise???

I said it last week.

It seemed to me that when he blasted Zaher, it was a long, sustained shot. Just holding that trigger down and hitting him for a good 10 seconds or so. With Georgiou, he mentioned making it take a while and it seemed like he just giving her quick bursts. To draw it out.
