The Qu’ran also cautions people against getting too attached to worldly possessions, and pretty much says that if the wealthy and powerful get oppressive, they need to be taken down. It’s not a perfect book by any means, but it’s absolutely not the demon tome Islamophobes make it out to be.

I have no idea what will happen to them. But considering their use of religion to hold onto their power, they should probably be more conscious of their actions give how the “old book” views such things. Especially once their subjects catch on.

I’m very much an agnostic; I have no idea what will come after death. I’ll say this much though: unless you’ve died and experienced nothingness you should probably tone down your arrogance. You have no more knowledge of what comes after this life than any of the rest of us.

It looks like every organized religion has veered wildly off the path it first started on. They’ve been hijacked by men who crave only wealth and power, repurposed to serve them, and humanity has and is suffering greatly because of it.
