Dachshunds are cute and cuddly and amazing dogs, but are very active. They tend to be pretty stubborn, which means training isn’t for the meek. They are scent hounds, so they tend to follow their nose and ignore anything else. They don’t tend to fear much, they are very lively.

Wow that’s a way more in depth response then I would have imagined! I would have though they’d just be like : here you’d like this dog. Haha that’s great that they go in depth like that!

I would love to take this time to remind everyone to never pressure or force anyone to come out. People choose not to come out because they are at risk of losing friends, family, housing, employment, healthcare, and in quite a few cases (transgender people in particular) their physical safety.

That Jennifer Lawrence commented on pay discrepancy between her and her male co-stars, one of whom was Bradley Cooper, who decided to come out and comment on the issue and say he agrees that the discrepancy is bad? And if he has clout to help fix that problem, that he’s willing to do so?

This is the thing I find so baffling about this conversation—women have been in combat in Canada, Israel, and a whole bunch of other places. And it’s been fine!

Not sorry, retailers, but nobody working these kinds of jobs should EVER be “on-call.” You aren’t working in a world where the world will come to a crashing halt if your employees aren’t on-call. Very, very few fields ever need on-call employees, and all of those fields tend to have actual emergency situations…
