Fair enough, but they still manage not to kill each other for the most part.

What’s interesting to me is that Canada is pretty comparable to the US in terms of size, culture, and population (in my experience at least) and they “somehow” manage to survive with what I assume are stricter gun laws. Not saying that they don’t have their problems, but they seem to have this one figured out.

I was upset enough. Seriously, those are the last moments of her life and they are horrifying. I honestly cried after watching it.

Don’t, it’s awful. She seems like a woman who really loved her job and that video shouldn’t be how she is remembered.

I watched it and I seriously regret it. I’m choosing to remember her as the photo on the bottom like the tweet is telling me to.

:(

Maybe it’s the polish addict in me, but in my head I’m screaming “They aren’t even close!” And i see your DL and raise you a stunning ILNP Multichrome in Sirene (Holo). http://www.ilnp.com/nail-polish/si…

I use it and I lurv it for a sweaty night out. I also use Nivea for Men Aftershave Balm as a primer which is a trick I learned from nikkietutorials on youtube. It has glycerin so errythang just sticks right to your face. She has some great videos too.

I’m so jealous! I honestly want all of them, but I only have a few because poor college student :(

The thing is, you don’t know that much more about big brand polish either. Cosmetic companies aren’t regulated by the FDA. Sure they might list the ingredients on the bottle, but the indie makers I buy from include lists too. And that’s fine if you want to stick with mainstream, but a lot of these indie makers are

I know what line you’re talking about, I have most of them and no it didn’t include one like this. And guess what, I’m wearing and indie polish right now and mine aren’t either.

The types of polishes and glitter mixes and colors and finishes are off the charts. There is so much variety it’ll make your head spin. Not to mention sales all the time and transparency for most makers.

Julep has the crappiest formula I’ve ever used, not to mention they’re overpriced. I’ve never seen a major brand come out with a multichrome holo flakie so until they start I’ll still be buying indie, just not Mentality.

Lush Lacquer is now under the name Polish Me Silly! I think they had to change because of the LUSH part of the name. They’re still open :)

Nope, I’ve only heard about it once or twice.

And what’s the dupe?

All of the ones already recommended are phenomenal and all I would add is Femme Fatale Cosmetics if you can stomach the shipping, Lacquer Lust, Stardust Polish, Pahlish, Digital Nails, and Illyrian.

If you want to make your own stuff then go for it. I’m not saying you have to purchase it and I’m not selling something. I like buying indie polish for the glitter combos and the styles that I can’t find in the mainstream lines. Generally, I don’t buy cremes or jellies from indies, only glitters and holos.

Okay, you’re obviously just scratching the surface then. There is so much variation in the indie world that I have never been able to find in mainstream brands. As an example, I’ve never seen a solid multichrome flakie polish come form a major brand, but the indie world was saturated with them this past year and

Neither does the polish made by Digital Nails. Just because one indie maker is a fuckwat doesn’t mean they all are. I have had absolutely amazing experiences with products from indie makers, and now I buy almost exclusively from them. The men and women who produce them put so much time and effort into making sure
