It only came out of nowhere if you haven't been watching the show from season one. Sansa and Arya's reunion was lukewarm at best. They both felt it but they were both kind of guarded/awkward/distant, all at once. It was almost anticlimactic. Sansa's reunion with Bran was easily more open and emotional, for her part.

Great comment. And yes, Dany and her dragons need to get some bloody armour, stat.

Has Jon sent any ravens to them since he was at Dragonstone? I don't think it's come up. If he has then they'd (reasonably, I'd say) be even more irate about him going north of the Wall after managing to make it out of Dragonstone alive. They do seem fickle but, at the same time, they have not had stable leadership

1. Same! I was surprised at how complacent every one else here is about how Littlefinger so easily led Arya by the nose. The prevailing sentiment is that Arya sees right through him and the Stark sisters will band together…? Err…well.

It's normal, though, for anyone even in a temporary position of power to have thoughts of what it would be like to own it in truth. And any sensible leader in her position would consider it, in light of who Jon went to meet. Her feelings of loyalty are just as real though. A Stark sister should have used the former

Arya, to her mind, needs nothing better to justify her suspicions than the Sansa she knew before they were parted. Remember? They were never close and, at that age, they were not capable of seeing things from each other's perspectives. Arya thought she was right, every time, and so has no confidence in Sansa's

That's been Arya for a good while now. That was my main concern when she was on the ship to Bravos several seasons ago. Too late to worry now.

Jorah, if I remember things correctly, is the only one who has stood by her from the very beginning of her journey. They have had a very intimate bond for quite some time now—not at all romantic, on Dany's end to my mind. "Loving" stares doesn't mean it has to involve lust or anything like it.

Let's hope so…? If the pointless drama has little impact on Winterfell's (and Westeros') fighting ability in relation to the White Walkers I don't see Bran giving two shits either way.

I mean, it could, but the alternative is Cersei who is equally ruthless. With the way both of them are wiping out noble families I'm not sure how big a factor that will be in the short or long term.

Her early dislike of Sansa and her tough years in between then and now have just made her more detached from everything. It's what I feared on her return to Winterfell. As a Stark she should have used her insight into Sansa's mixed feelings about being Lady of Winterfell to shore up her loyalty (which is there) not

Has Sansa told her? If that happened it wasn't on screen. I sincerely doubt she did, considering that they weren't close when they were younger, and distance wouldn't make it any easier.

I'm tempted to rewatch the relevant season in order to discern what on earth happened between Jamie and Brienne that somehow managed to wipe the slate clean for so many.

but he's always given the impression if it was up to him none of these bad things would be happening.

Two sides both with links to ISIS and Al-Qaeda involving a major US ally and it has very little to do with the US? Even your description is an overt simplification of the Yemeni conflict. Just…don't bother.

There were a lot of rumours about how he's a serial cheater from last year. Obv can't prove their veracity but…

Crap, I forgot about that kid. I hope we get to see how he's doing this season.

Attempted murder because a child caught you fucking is as black a mark as any character needs. Aiding and abetting a cruel persons like his father and Cersei, even when it directly lead to their youngest child's suicide is as black a mark as anyone needs. We have seen a Lannister who actually tried to push back

The comparisons to autism aren't persuasive. There is nothing in the show's writing that makes this instant transformation earned in anyway. I'm just supposed to take in on faith that seeing visions means he has to be this way? He can pop back on screen when he finally becomes useful. Otherwise, I'm okay with the

I don't know that we're supposed to be thrilled by the slaughter either. Any thrill I experienced by seeing the dragon appear disappeared as soon as the fire attacks started. It was sickening all around.
