I could sit here all day writing a mature comment in which I agree with Gunn. Or I could post a series of comics that appeared on my Tumblr dash and nails what I want to say.
On further thought, he might have to alternate that Oscar with Samuel L. Jackson at the least. If he walked up to me wearing the coat and eyepatch and told me SHIELD needed me in the Middle East, I'd probably be on the plane before I thought "Hey, wait a minute. . . "
Some people think vaccines are dumb, science is dumb, going out into space is dumb, reading books is dumb... I like James's response, but here would be mine (totally stolen)
"Since it is so likely that children will meet cruel enemies, let them at least have heard of brave knights and heroic courage. Otherwise you are…
Thankfully, McDonald's and Coca Cola's profits have dropped last year. Hopefully this continues for the rest of the industry in the coming months.
The TMNT cartoon changed Splinter from being Hamato Yoshi's pet rat to actually being a mutated Hamato Yoshi. It's a change I've embraced. It's FAR less stupid than a pet rat learning Ninjitsu from its owner, more or less by osmosis. I don't remember whether the 2003 cartoon kept the pet rat or Yoshi himself story.…
Double Indemnity. Raymond Chandler's screenplay changed it to a story told by flashback, changed the ending radically, so much so that, according to Hollywood legend, the novel's author (James M. Cain) told Chandler, "Your ending is so much better than mine!"
In the comics, Tony Stark had the dumbest secret identity of any mainstream superhero. The story he gave the public was that Iron Man is his "bodyguard." And people bought it, despite the fact that Iron Man is never seen in the same place with the guy whose body he's supposed to guard, and that whenever there's…
X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. Having Magneto be responsible for putting Xavier in the wheelchair is infinitely better than the original comic-book version, in which a forgettable alien invader named Lucifer was responsible.
SPIDER-MAN: Yep, having Uncle Ben be killed by a carjacker outside the wrestling match is a hundred times…
After my initial shock and "they can't" reaction, I actually like the organic web shooters at least as much as the mechanical ones. In many ways it makes more sense. Kid gets spider powers including webs, vs. kid gets everything but that, so he's also a super genius and invents the most amazing chemical sustance since…
The Verge wrote a profile that talks about who the men actually are, and how they actually feel about this phenomenon. I thought it was a good article, so I brought it to Kotaku's attention. If I explain who these people are, it's because I don't assume everyone automatically knows all of the internet's memes.
That's reasonable. Not every week has to be something groundbreaking. I think a good tradeoff would be to attempt to write something thorough/thought provoking once a month and have the rest be smaller updates/talk amongst ourselves with a prompt. Maybe "Random Encounters" weeks 1-3 and "Boss Fight" monthly?
"RPG of the month club"! Every month or the so the community plays through a new RPG or and old one (like Shin Megami Nocturne, for example), stopping at defined points and discussing it here weekly.
I just want to say thank you for this. I've been using your guide since I started watching anime simulcasts (Summer 2013), and I have yet to find another source so easy to navigate and with all of the CMs.
Currently watching Aldnoah, Durarara, that magical boy anime, and Akatsuki no Yona. Looking forward to adding some…
It's winter. It's cold outside. So stay in and bundle up next to a cozy fire; there are 35 new anime airing this…

Conventional wisdom suggests the longer it takes to finish a game, the better—especially RPGs. We even have…
