Yup, that’s what I don’t get. You’re already doing the swap, why not drop in the M3's inline 6? What do you gain from going from a 2.5L to a 3.0L? Talk about shooting for the moon there, and return on investment. Take all of that Dinan intake, exhaust, and tuning money, and give me a stock S54 instead.

In the UK every car older than a few weeks seems to costs less than £3k. Most markets don’t work that way.

I was on board until I saw this. I still have mental and physical scars from my friends 1994 Saturn SL sedan.

I can: Any Jag that has depreciated to $15,000.

Why is it that if there is a car with a rebuilt engine and/or transmission for sale, it always has been some ridiculously small amount of time since the rebuild? Drop all that money into it and only get around the block a few times before you realize it was a mistake? Always makes me wonder...

I don’t think it is possible to NP a $28,900 car that has sheepskin seat covers.

Where were all you guys when I had my Loyale up on CL? I finally just sold it and it was cleaner than this one with the newer fuel injected engine. It also had alloys from an XT on it.

MINE! Already fired off an email to the guy. $1500 for that is a steal considering that the R100 I looked at that was actually on fire and parked under a truck wheel in pieces was going for $2500.

In case you wondered, if this car’s injection pump is timed correctly and the injectors are in good shape it puts out less NOx than a 2009-2014 Jetta. The new car puts out *much* less soot and hydrocarbons though.

Nice aero

Trust me, there was nothing fun about the Pinto. The Cosworth Vega at least had an interesting motor, but there weren’t many of those.

The Fox has a front to back motor while the Jetta has a side to side one (Forgot the technical terms)... not that nice of a swap....

What in the name of all that is holy IS that? It looks like something MacGyver built to inseminate robot cows...

Yup, and more...the phone number comes back to “Dablesta Auto Limited” which has no store front or online presence...Likely a flipper, likely a roll back on the odo, likely no history as to where/how the unmentioned salvage title originated.

Are you located in the Southern Hemisphere?

What are you saying?

I think that’s just how the box sits on the frame. Remember that as a concrete truck, this thing was designed to carry 40,000 pounds of concrete (10 cubic yards * 4,000 lb/yd). I doubt these mods come close to the max payload...

There {cat turd} is, sinking into the warming whipped cream, dispersing its vile ruin throughout, and basically trying to wreck the entire experience for you.

I like my bear theory better.

So much equalization!!!
