I'm proud to say that Mathew Allen Swift is my great grandfather. On several occasions I was fortunate enough to get a chance to work on and drive that wonderful car. Seeing as I royally botched my first suggestion I would like to amend it to the fantastic 7.6L straight six out of the Rolls-Royce Phantom I/II. It had a whopping 40-50hp, dual ignition (magneto and distributor), and a two piece aluminum block and this was all done in the early 1920's
Well that was a quite the little brain fart. I guess I spent a bit too long today brake cleaner can today.
Cosworth 2.5L-16V from the Mercedes 190E. So much 70's German fantasticness.
Does because racecar apply in this situation?
