I understand that the writers at kinja get punished if they don’t meet their title spoiler quota, but I still hate it.

The game’s in a weird spot right now. The last new map was released 3 years ago and the last new character 2 years ago. I get that they want to reserve stuff for OW2 but it’s a really weird plan to let your game go 2 years with only new skins to keep it going.

I legitimately miss Overwatch in its prime. That game ate up hundreds if not thousands of hours; there hasn’t been anything like when you had a robust defense or pulled out victory in the closing seconds of OT

the meat of the sequel, I think, is the PVE content. Outside of that, i’m not excited about it either and I play at least once or twice a week. granted, I’m one of the fanboys who wishes there was a movie and a full blown single player in an open world, but you know, we take what we can get.

I’m just going to state how very annoying the whole thing is where they had us opt-in for the beta like a month ago, but then this week, you also had to see the notification in time that beta access required watching four hours of one of the officially selected Overwatch 2 Beta streamers on twitch.

I’m kind of worried about how this might interact with invasions. I can’t imagine this ‘pause button’ works while you’re being invaded, or playing cooperatively. But does that mean that hitting it will prevent you from being invaded? Or will being invaded knock you out of the pause, leading to a cheap death while…
