i was having issues on launch day when i plugged in my ps4's external hard drive and it decided to update all 100ish games installed on there at once. i had 2 or 3 hard crashes while gaming and then went thru the boot loop stuff, eventually just unplugging the hard drive until i was done gaming for the day. now that

i had to pay 500 for some stupid game stop bundle 2 months after launch, that I still had to fight against bots (via sites like brick seeker), and it was still better than dealing with a scalper. anecdotally, everyone in my gaming discord who wanted a ps5 on launch got one thru a pre order (6 of us), and we wouldn’t

the switch launch sucked ass, it was as bad as the current launches.

i play enough playstation to feel like i got my money’s worth out of my base and pro units. even psvr was worth it for resident evil 7 and rez alone.

game should just be called “watchdogs: use the spider drone”

wasteland 3 is also a good game.

fallout 76 is a good game. it wasn’t good until the wastelanders update, and it's never going to be the fallout game old school fans wanted (spoiler alert; y'all are never getting that game FYI). love seeing all the salty comments from people who don’t ever intend on playing the game anytime there is an article about

probably not since they specifically mention digital. definitely a bit disappointing, i was hoping it could be a lowkey ps5 launch title with at least some kind of performance patch pushed out. i still really want to play this game, and i have all the other games with the steelbook launch copy, so i’m probably just

my original comment literally says :

anecdotally, my group of friends (about 6 of us) had a lot of fun in the beta, but there’s no rush for us to buy in yet. a year or so from now when there is more polish and content (and presumably the game is cheaper as well) we will get on board.

want to buy my second one for 800 bucks?

that might rock the boat with retail partners. sony can’t really punish these retail partners for the way they handled pre-orders either, since pretty much all of them said fuck it.

yes, i got an email confirmation within minutes of completing the order. i did need to use 3 credit cards tho because the checkout kept triggering fraud protection (first my wells fargo card, then my capital one card, and finally my discover card worked). i was convinced i couldn’t check out because they actually did

i panic pre ordered thru amazon (shoutout wario64 on twitter) but then won the pre order raffle thru sony. then amazon sent out a mass email basically saying they can’t actually guarantee you one at launch anyways. so i was still able to pre order thru my sony link late last night, which was surprising, since i was

if they just admit the game didn't sell that well and they need $$ I would not have thought twice about it. this is all kind of funny at least.

to mike’s credit, at least this is an actual game review.

valid counterpoint.

i really like downhill. i can keep a lot of momentum going doing air tricks>reverts>manuals and do big combos.

“The beta did not do Marvel’s Avengers justice. It sped through the campaign’s opening, skipping broad swaths of quality story content in favor of getting players into the online action.” it still took us about 2 hours of single player stuff til we could play together... does this mean it will be even longer now?
