Go see sonic the hedgehog in theaters

can you show me on the doll where fortnite touched you?

speaking of weird examples, i think one piece is another sort of exception - in that it’s source material is still ongoing in the original manga form and it’s one of the biggest properties in the industry. i think there is a big aspect of cross promotion going on (i’ve heard that a lot of anime adaptations only get

i absolutely appreciate anime as a unique medium for that reason. no argument from me there. i still don’t agree with this other guys point of a remake diluting the source material / other adaptations to such an extreme degree.

i’m really not this personally invested in the whole thing? to answer your question, i actually think the anime Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo is the best version of the story to boot lol.

these make a lot of sense when you compare it to other 13 inch computers that can actually do a little heavy lifting. honestly i’ve always viewed them as the windows-machine answer to macbooks. the entry level macbooks are still 2k and won’t run most games.

that’s entirely hypothetical. i think taika would have done something cool for sure. and if it turns out to be a dud, i still have the books and anime, and can go on with my life in a world where there are 2 versions i love and one i don’t.

Kind of disappointed so many people are against another adaptation. The source material and original film aren't going anywhere.

something about media molecule’s brand of whimsy just completely doesn’t land with me? it looks pretty good though i can’t deny.

the games like 20 years old almost. what a lame excuse lol.

the first game was wonderful. the sequel was missing something for me though, and i wouldn’t have finished it if i wasn’t invested in the story.

compared to halo maybe?

just a little side comment, opening an action game with at this pace (a literal crawl) kind of infuriates me. it really turned me off from the game in general. had a sour taste in my mouth from start, and the game never really pulled me over the hump into really loving it like the new order. game felt more like a

nice

ok

idk numbers either, but personally speaking, these sort of risky prestige titles are one of the reasons i’m bit of a sony fanboy. that is to say, i think they are ok if it’s not a runaway hit. i’m aware of the PC port rumors, that will be cool too.

It was free with my new laptop so I wasn’t planning on buying it at all either after that beta.... but it’s got potential for sure. Wondering if the 2.0 thing is really gonna happen or not, I browse the subreddit once or twice a month and info is still pretty scant, it feels like it’s all just rumors.

for all it’s faults, anthem really is a gorgeous game. this is dope concept art too, but i don’t think even half of this translated to the game, although i only played about 20 hours at launch.

alt+enter will fix that really quickly for me. still odd.

really slick teaser. kind of odd how super serious mental health research is becoming their big thing - IMO senua sort of coasted by on that moreso than being a solid game with good mechanics. not much more info to go on, so i don’t have much more to say about it really - i look forward to more information for sure.
