the side lore is often really shallow too though. they play a sound effect and cal says like “something bad happened here” and it doesn’t add up to much of a contribution imo. 

i started this game two different times on ps4 but can’t stick with it. i love the alien franchise and i like the genre, but the first time i experienced a few glitches and fell through the map and lost a bunch of progress. then the second time i wasn’t seeing the alien like 3 hours into my game and was pixel hunting…

i checked out the new dj shadow album today and was pretty disappointing. it feels a bit pretentious without doing anything to earn it. nothing new or fresh to really pull me.

yea, had to take him down 4 times. i thought i was doing something wrong but then on the third down i noticed the ‘explosion’ was a lot bigger and went for another kill, and ended it.

i am doing a no kill run too, but i was under the impression it didn’t matter in chapter 4 since they aren’t really people, and just went for the guns. guess we’ll find out lol.

that’s a bit of a relief. i read the comic way back in 2004 in my senior year of highschool and barely remember it anymore. but i still wasn’t sure it would even help, since they’ve said up front they are doing something new with it.

i like the show a lot, but honestly am pretty confused about what the actual story is. mystery box writing is kind of annoying sometimes.

that’s all fine. gta had a lot of missions that were the same structure and i experienced a bit of that in the time i spent with this game. sometimes riding back to camp took 15-20 mins, just to pick up another quest, or even walking through camp at a snails pace, that was brutal.

will they be able to mod in things like control adjustments and walking speed?fast travel? i’m unfamiliar w/ the gta modding scene if stuff like that is possible with the tools modder have. i couldn’t play this game past 10 hours on ps4, for me it was just not fun to play, even though i was in love with the world and…

it’s sort of funny really. my gf watched me play for 4 hours and didn’t really have much to say until i had to rock the baby. you shake the fuck out of the thing and it calms down. it feels wrong lol.

what do you need it for? i’ll run malwarebytes like once a year but uninstall it between then, windows defender has been pretty tight for a few years now.
