The Levorg doesn’t come with a manual transmission either. Even worse, it’s a CVT *spits*.

Volvo also made the V90 special-order only in a country that wants to drive home their new car today.

It's worth pointing out that an EV charged entirely by a coal-powered electrical grid will still produce half the CO2 emissions per mile than a gasoline-powered car.

Now playing

They made it look positively mundane, spending 2h20m total charging for a 1200 mile trip along a similar route, with stops making for natural breaks after 3-4 hours of driving.
To be fair this is basically the ideal EV road trip but this is all entirely possible with today’s technology.Yes, we need to educate people

I mean, Ford wanted a Wrangler competitor. Significant recalls really give you that FCA experience.

I am pretty sure 2022... 2023 latest... will be the year that Teslas are full self driving.

Maybe because they’re the ones touting it as “full self-driving” when it’s anything but, whereas every other manufacturer calls it a driver aid.

The 6 may be old, but the updates they made in 2018 really made a huge difference, especially with interior materials. When the wife and I were shopping for our last car, it came down to the Honda Accord and the Mazda 6. The build quality of both was great, but the materials in the Mazda were just better at pretty

Yeah, I don’t love Defender as lifestyle accessory rather than utilitarian workhorse (although if they get cheap enough, I’m open), but “they’ve built a longer Defender and that’s bad” is a weird take.

The last thing the shopping mall parking lots of the world need is a >$100K modernized retro-1980's SUV with less off-road capability than a decent Wrangler and equally crap gas mileage. This design gets the job done for 90% of the users and even has a PHEV version.

As a Brit, I find it almost amusing that people laud over the original Defender, often paying well over $100k+ for an average example. The new one is actually pretty capable, looks fine, and certainly stands out in an ocean of egg-shaped crossovers.

As a Ford owner, I already know the “post warranty experience” is going to be stuff like oil change and tire discounts they provide in the points-based system in their app. Only valid through dealer service departments of course.

This car has AWD and two torque distributing differentials. Don't kid yourself.

That, and you can’t have much fun in a 17-feet-long vehicle that carries eight people.

I was extremely surprised to see a Lucid Air on the road on Monday. It had presence for sure.

I see, so your main issue here is that the recall should state they explode too much

you’re also supposed to replace them after so many hard stops which I’m sure zero people have ever done.

Don’t start your replies with “uh”, it just makes you seem like an asshole”

It absolutely has been missed.

it was only in occasional use
