This is an interesting take on it.

Not sure how I missed this, but I remember when a lot of this was going down, and it made me physically ill. I saw her first video, but hadn't seen the follow-ups. Thanks for posting this!
I see a lot of men thrown under the bus for sticking up for women, not just from other men, but from women who say they don't need a "white knight." While I see some validity in that (yay! we can fight out own battles! woo hoo?), I think that facing down something you think is wrong, whether that makes you popular or…
Ugh, the worst part is I can't get rid of MY stupid end of things! These dumb comments will live forever!!! ARRGGGHHH!
If that doesn't work, I dunno, mace? ;)
I think this is a really good idea. Asking if they want a kiss is actually super cute (because either way, yes or no, the response from the little kid is going to be adorable) and making a little kid kiss someone is weird, and boundary-crossing, and could be used to evil ends. Approved!
Kids are like cats though - they seem to know if you want nothing to do with them and end up ALL OVER YOU.
Wells, whatevs, I'm signing off. I have never been so hurt on Jezebel/Groupthink before. I've always enjoyed discussions here, and the move to go on Groupthink and publicly bash me makes me feel like I'm in 7th grade and everyone hates me all over again. PetticoatDespot, I've always really enjoyed your comments…
No one ever said "real women have curves" How bout MOST women have curves?
I dunno, but she also jumped on Groupthink to bad mouth me. Classy move.
So your response is to passive-aggressively make fun of me on Groupthink?
I'm sorry, but a female figure with no pubic hair and low body fat IS TYPICAL of pre-pubescent bodies. Hence the 9 year-old comment. Read up on Tanner staging of sexual development if you must. The appearance of secondary sexual characteristics are based population studies about how most bodies respond to sex…
Weight loss is like a foreign concept to me at this point. I can't figure out how I can be unable to keep anything down but still manage to gain insane amounts of weight. I have a skinny-minnie friend who got pregnant at almost the same day as me, and she looks PREGNANT - as it, thin everywhere else but a nice round…
Yeah, I feel daft, but these suggestions are pretty racist, right?
That's been the toughest part - I'm so majorly tired and uncomfortable and barfy, but I'm still in my first trimester so I can't tell anyone, and I don't look pregnant I just look bloated AND ALL I WANT IS A SCOTCH. Ugh, this baby BETTER be cool, I swear....
WRONG!
Argh, I missed this whole convo on Friday! Also, you ladies are totally shaming me. I'm ashamed to admit it, but the first few weeks for me going off the sauce was TOUGH. I was definitely drinking more than a glass of wine a week. I swear, I had to wean myself off. I'm know I'm a horrible person, but my thinking was…
