You're pretty wrong about that. Mike Tyson is and always was a huge student of boxing, despite what his persona makes you (apparently) think. That's a ridiculous thing to say.

Young Mike Tyson was a lot more technical than people think. Maybe not Mayweather technical, but a lot of what he did was based on a solid foundation of footwork and combination punching. Later in life, he essentially tried to end every fight with KO's rather than letting those KO's come because of what he was doing.
