I would love to get a 911 Turbo Convertible, the 997 style. But by the time they get cheap enough for me to own one, it would have so many miles and so many problems that buying one could be a big mistake. So it looks like it would just be a dream and not a reality.

With that attitude you'll be able to do it one day! Best of luck to you, and when you're done, post pictures for us to see.

Holy F*cking Shit!

Totally forgot about that style. Thanks for reminding me how nice they looked.

I'll nominate you for #COTD!

A guy called EDMUND CANO claims to be the one who painted it. Here's a link to the post;

"John Titor?"

And this car I love and would drive it everywhere!

No idea where that car is. But one day I want this on the rear window of my car!

You're right about the S2000. If I'd thought about it yesterday I would have mentioned it. I keep looking at the market to see what is available in the small sports car market and the Miata is my first choice. Closely followed by the S2000 and also BMW Z3. I know the Z3 might not be classed as an entry level sports

LOL, my first thought too!

It looks gorgeous and I would love a big old boat like that... but not for $12K. That is way too much for something like this. If it was half that amount, I'd consider it. But even then I'd really have to talk myself into it. I'd like to know who buys this. Maybe I can sell them a bridge...

I had one but they took it away because I didn't want to be rude and ignore some guy... :-( But one day when I'm rich and own the world, I'll seek out my revenge by buying Gawker and making the Jalopnik staff only write stories for Jezebel... :-P

And they take it away very quickly on Jalopnik if you get stuck in a conversation because you don't want to be rude and just ignore the guy.... :-/ I need to learn to be more of a hard ass on the internet and forget my upbringing of not being rude to people.

And in the UK (and USA I think) they are now in the business of selling a "computer clean up/tune up service online that you can subscribe to for only £39.99 a month. Which in business terms is one step away from washing your windshield at the stop lights and then trying to bum that last cigarette from you.

I used to browse Huffington Post to see what all the fuss was about and soon got bored of it because it was... well boring. I used to read Jalopnik as my only source of auto news but since the changes over the past few months I now use it for about 40% of my auto fix.

It's already been posted here about a million times, but just in case for some reason you're still not convinced that it really is the best entry sports car bar none I shall repeat it for the masses who just read the first few posts them move on to looking for porn again....

There is a certain color that I hate and nothing looks good in it. Except the Bel Air. For some reason the Bel Air really looks good in aqua blue. Out of all the old American cars, the Bel Air, the car out of Christine (it's late & I can't remember) and a big old Cadillac convertible are the only ones I would love to

The part about it being German reminded me of a TV ad we have over here in the UK for a caffeine shampoo that is supposed to be big in Germany. I have no idea why anyone would want to wash their hair with caffeine. I have no idea why all of a sudden men are becoming chicks and getting into all of this skin care stuff.
