Here's the thing…
Here's the thing…
Just finished the seventh season last night, thanks to Crackle (it's weird how they've been dispersing seasons, but somehow I've managed to see them all in order). Anyway, I agree with many of the other commenters that along with Six Feet Under, this is possibly the greatest, most thematically appropriate series…
amen brother. Again, this is why architectural consulting is a lot more fun. My day is now 80% creative and 20% administrative, and it used to be the other way around.
So true! I worked for Rafael Vinoly in NYC as my first 'real' job, and the first thing they asked me to do was reload the paper rolls in the plotters. I asked 'can someone show me how'? And no one could. No one could.
I'm a young architect, thankfully working. The representations we see mentioned in this article, as well as in the likes of Ted Mosby, Mike Brady, the girlfriend in Californication, and of course Howard Roark are pretty ridiculous. To start, everyone thinks we have to be good at math and we're wealthy. Neither of…
Also, did anyone pick up on the total copy of the V for Vendetta plotline, right down to using a train in an abandoned subway station?
Anna Gunn has "one of the most expressive faces in the business"
Bah! I take my lunch here everyday, but I was busy all week and didn't leave the office. It makes me unreasonably sad that I missed this :(
May the concessions be ever in your price-range.
Thanks! I gave myself a big ol' pat on the back for that one :)
Hey man, I feel you. I was SO worried someone would release something like this before I finished making it. Glad we agree some of the shots! Some seemed kinda obvious (plane exploded in a giant fireball), but other sections (like the donut stuff), I had absolutely no idea for the longest time what to do there.
So glad you liked it!!
That makes me so happy.
AHHH!! I created this video and it was my dearest hope and dream that the AV Club would deem it worthy of a post. THANK YOU Kayla Reed, you just made my life :)
Just finished Sepinwall's book last night .Fantastic read. Just started watching Friday Night Lights because of him, and before I knew it, I was 8 episodes in. Man's got taste.
It's such an amazing film, but god, just thinking about it makes me well up. It's just so SAAAAAAAAAAD.
probably still needed the money and liked working for himself. But come on! It's weird he was by himself too…
It's not so hard… and I do apologize.
Six Feet Under=best series finale ever. Perfectly in tune with the spirit of the show.
No Breaking Bad or Homeland?? But they liked DEXTER this season??!! Blech.
