Empathy is something that needs to be taught. Kids are not naturally empathetic. They have to learn other people are just as important as them. That other people’s lives are different. It does take awhile to develop but it can be developed.

$1350 for 2 bedrooms?!! Where in LA is that? We’re paying more for a 1BR in Manhattan-and the neighborhood isn’t even fully gentrified (not that I want to displace anyone, just saying that I can’t imagine what the rent will become when this area fully gentrifies).
