The whole song really builds to that moment, and when these guys got there and they stuck with the same low-key vibe they had before it really took all the air out of the whole thing.

Me too!
The whole Hong Kong fight in Pacific Rim is fantastic, really. Mako screaming "FOR MY FAMILY!!!" while they cut a kaiju in half with a bigass sword is probably my favorite movie scene all year
That scene was amazing, but my favorite definitely has to be the first shootout with the mute-brothers. They were just silly comic-relief characters up until that point, and then out of nowhere they turn into cop-killing MACHINES.
A for the episode, A- for the season.
Gotta be Chalky for me, followed by Van Alden. Eli's also had an amazing turnaround this season, I thought. Willie may be a shitty character, but watching Eli struggle over trying to be a good father and keep his son out of jail was gut-wrenching. Made me forget how much I hated Eli in previous seasons
Did you at least get to the Safe Haven segment? That one is amazing
Safe Haven was so good that it was hard for me to pay attention during the last short.
Prince of Darkness isn't a good movie, but it's got some great ideas in it, and it's a ton of fun.
It appears you have two accounts now
To be fair, the dialogue in Boardwalk Empire can be a lot of fun to listen to, too. Nowhere near as poetic as Deadwood (what is?), but it's definitely got it's own charm
Shanghai cuisine or GTFO. Xiao Long Bao is probably my favorite dish ever
I…I just figured that one out
):
Oddly prescient…
"The Ice Is Getting Thinner" is not a good song.
Hahahah you're old and white, probably.
Black On Both Sides doesn't count as a great solo album?
Yeah, too bad they fucking cancelled it. That show was awesome, lackluster finale aside.
FUCK OFF
