You should torrent it and just skip to the riddles in the dark scene. Say what you will about the rest of the movie, but that scene was perfect.

Even as a nine year old, I knew master of disguise was shit. I remember watching it on a plane and getting mad at how terrible it was

@guywhothinksstuff:disqus Except the people who are going to praise Thatcher's policies aren't going to wait a week. Why should they deserve a head start?

Glenn Greenwald, of all people, has a pretty great article about the damage that the whole "don't speak ill of the dead" thing does when its applied to political figures.

I'm really gonna miss your writing, Scott.I didn't read this feature near as consistently as I'd want to, but when I did I always loved the writing. Really opened me up to new films, or at least to new ways of looking at a film I'd already seen. Good luck with whatever comes next!

Wait, Paramore is a good band now? Since when!?

That was beautiful. Thank you

No he's just one of those valets from that Key and Peele sketch.

If we're going down that route, Pauline Kael didn't like Blade Runner. And I would hardly call anyone who loved something like "Dark City" and championed it as much as he did populist.

Jim Emerson, the editor of RogerEbert.com, said that he had a few more reviews to post up, the last of which was "To The Wonder". Which he apparently liked quite a lot, which is great.

I couldn't really get into Badlands when I tried watching it, even though I absolutely love The Thin Red Line (which is the only Malick film I've seen so far, but it's honestly one of my favorite films of all time). I ended up turning it off about half an hour in. I definitely need to give it another shot.

"Just because Hitler said it, it doesn't make it untrue" -r/atheism

@avclub-7340b9ebe3aeb361fd0f48aedae9ab03:disqus "Tentacle rape is such an otherworldy outlandish experience that it is something more akin to a dream. It is like being raped by Satan, there is no shame to being raped by Satan since if it happens it is an ineveitability that was ordained by the universe." is a sentence

Oh wow, glad to know someone else is reading these at around the same time I am! To answer your question, it appears to be a cup of tea, and it was probably just out of kindness

@avclub-e53fc2424af041d07a7eef5cd8773505:disqus I just pirated all your shit. And now I'm seeding it, to like, 500 people.

Seriously, so many people would still be alive if she hadn't fucking *SPOILERS FROM LIKE WAY BACK IN MID SEASON ONE* kidnapped Tyrion.

He was a great writer. Q&A was definitely the best episode of Homeland last season, and I loved Rubicon way more than I probably should have.  RIP

As someone who's working their way through this series (finished season 4 a couple weeks ago, putting off starting season 5 so that I can get caught up on Mad Men at the moment), I would really appreciate spoiler warnings.

The Cool is the first album where Lupe's more commercial tendencies showed up, and I think it's the only one so far where he's been able to successfully meld that with his social consciousness.
Edit: Shoot I meant for that to be a reply to SatteliteinternetIsSkynet
